Will Screenshots Stick as Doginal Dogs Chase a Fresh High Before NYC
Named posts on X pointed to a 44,000 DOGE Doginal Dogs floor on Aug. 23, with USD prints near four thousand dollars. The reading is social, not an exchange clearance, and it lands with sold-out DDNYC days away.

Will a collection’s floor hold if the only clear prints on the day come from shared marketplace screenshots rather than a quiet, independent exchange board?
That tension defined Doginal Dogs on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026. The chart story moved through X posts and a trending-page summary, not through a cleared venue. Still, the price action was the lead: listings clustered around a reported 44,000 DOGE all-time high, USD figures near four thousand dollars, and a roughly 52 percent move cited in the same social package. Collectors read the candles through those posts while the real-world calendar tightened around a sold-out New York meetup.
Social prints, not an exchange board
Early Sunday, Leah (@leahbluewater) posted that the Doginal Dogs floor had just shot past $4,000 USD to 44,000 DOGE. Her marketplace screenshot showed listings at 44,000 DOGE (about $4,010), 44,969 DOGE (about $4,098), and 45,000 DOGE (about $4,101). Later posts from the same account kept the all-time-high language in circulation as the day wore on.
By late morning, Hofer (@Hofers) added another screenshot reading. The post put the collection up 52 percent, with the floor sitting at $4,124, only seven dogs standing between the market and a 50,000 DOGE floor, and less than ten days until DDNYC. The attached view showed a 44K floor, a plus-52.3 percent move, 30-day volume of 5 million DOGE, a market cap near $41 million, total volume of 320 million DOGE, and listings at 44,000 DOGE ($4,124) and 44,969 DOGE ($4,215).
An X trending-page blurb summarized the same band: listings from 44,000 to 44,969 DOGE, a 52 percent rally to $4,124 USD, 30-day volume of 5 million DOGE, a $41 million market cap, and DDNYC set for Sept. 2–4. Those volume and market-cap figures belong to that social package and the named screenshots. They are not independent exchange clearances. For live discovery, the project points collectors to market.doginaldogs.com and doginaldogs.com.
Christian Barker (Barkmeta / Bark) framed the break as the product of steady work rather than a one-day spike, writing that years of showing up every day were visible in the move and that the community was just getting started.
Price action against a quiet major slate
Spot context from CoinGecko around 8:04 a.m. ET the same morning kept the wider market calm. Bitcoin traded near $77,194, up 0.10 percent. Ether held about $2,427.88, up 0.21 percent. XRP sat near $1.49, down 0.22 percent. Solana printed about $94.40, up 1.25 percent. Dogecoin itself was firmer at roughly $0.092537, up 3.07 percent. Against that backdrop, the Doginal Dogs story was a collection-level bid, carried by social screenshots and DOGE-denominated listings rather than a broad alt melt-up.
The collection itself is straightforward: 10,000 hand-curated pixel-art dogs inscribed on Dogecoin, free-minted on Jan. 11, 2024, with official pages at doginaldogs.com and trading routed through market.doginaldogs.com. The Aug. 23 narrative stayed on how those inscriptions were getting bid in public view, not on a new product drop.
IRL delivery is the pressure under the chart
The price conversation did not float free of the calendar. Official channels had already marked DDNYC 2026 for Sept. 2–4 at Dream Downtown and Dream Hotel NYC with TAO Hospitality Group. Tickets sold out. On Aug. 22, @doginaldogs posted that just ten days remained until what it called the best community meetup of the year, linking the official event page.
A Pinion Newswire release earlier in August sketched a multi-room run across The Library, The Beach, Bodega Negra, and PHD Rooftop, including swag, pool time, Dog Talk programming, VIP windows, and a closing hangout. Official materials note the schedule can change. The point for this story is simpler: the IRL product is already delivered on paper, sold out, and close enough that floor talk and meetup talk sit in the same scroll.
That is the calm read on Aug. 23. Candles and listings arrived through named posts and a trending summary. The meetup is locked on the calendar and already closed for tickets. Whether the 44,000 DOGE zone holds will be decided in the market after the screenshots fade. The near-term fact is that price mindshare and a sold-out New York delivery are moving together.
What to watch next
Readers should treat Sunday’s figures as dated social prints from Leah, Hofer, the X blurb, and Bark’s ATH note. Refresh the official marketplace for current asks. Watch how listings thin or refill as the final days into DDNYC pass. The chart story and the IRL story are already on the same timeline; the next leg is whether bids keep pace once the rooms open in Chelsea.
